Thank you for visiting our site and we want to share with you the excitement
we feel about our work in Zambia, Africa.
Our intention is to uplift those living at subsistence level and poverty
in a way that empowers them rather doling out hand outs and charity.
We want to give back power to the vulnerable to make choices about their
lives rather than to be caught in a constant struggle of survival.
Our first focus has been the women in rural areas who care for their
own children and orphans. Dr Cary Rasof has based himself an hour from
Lusaka and spends most of the year working there setting up our projects
which are driven from a microloan plan that fuels small enterprises and
gives autonomy and sustainable support to the women.

To join the plan the women and their communities are required to build
fuel conservation stoves and plant fruit trees in their villages and
compounds, helping to replace the many trees that have been destroyed
in the past.
Self sustaining projects affiliated to the Micro Loan Plan are Goats
for grannies, Kids back to school, Nutrition for Aids and Community Schools.
The results have been heart warming and beyond our dreams and the enthusiasm
of those participating in the giving and receiving, are a lesson for
us all as we see true empowerment in action.
Love Anne and Cary
