Dr CaryThe man who makes it all happen on location in Zambia
Dr Cary Rasof is a role model and inspiration of love in action. A medical doctor from Chicago, USA, he gave up his practice many years ago to travel the world assisting those most in need of love and care. He has worked with various NGOs including Doctors Without Borders (Medecins Sans Frontieres) and has worked in warring regions of Haiti, Rwanda and Angola. He now works and lives in Zambia and is totally committed to the people and the success of our project without any heed of his own needs and thrives on the love of the people that he has helped by giving them back their independence and dignity.
We are truly in a very privileged position to have him in this project.

Catherine - Hearts and Hands Micro Loan Administrator
Catherine is a midwife working from the local clinic and helps Cary monitor and collect microloans for the women in her community and keeps a motherly eye on them all. She herself lost three of her eight children and has a full and compassionate heart for the suffering of many of the mothers in the region who struggle with a high infant mortality rate. She lives in a mud hut without water or electricity but has raised enough money through her own microloan projects to put her boys into school.

AgnesHearts and Hands Micro Loan Administrator
Agnes has a small farm of her own and specialises in the breeding and care of goats. As well as working at her local clinic this energetic and vital lady still finds time to administer the loans for her community. She also monitors the Goats for Grannies project and her understanding of the animals and her medical experience have proven invaluable to all the projects for the women in her region.

Annefounder
Anne Jones started Hearts and Hands in 2007. Her first donation was a house in the centre of Johannesburg for the Noah’s Ark charity for their day care work for vulnerable children. This has now expanded into an orphanage. She now focuses on supporting Cary in their work in Zambia. She is a healer, seminar speaker and author of six self development books and spends her time travelling the world from her base in Hampshire, UK where she lives with her husband Tony – the project’s main sponsor.
